“This song is very different from anything I’ve written before. All of my songs are pulled from personal experiences I’ve had, but I do usually write with a larger audience in mind and try to make songs as relatable as possible. With Forevermore, I wrote the song for an audience of one.”

About Kevin Goodwin:

Kevin Goodwin is a hopeless romantic and singer-songwriter from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He’s passionate about making songs that sound like they would of been popular twenty years ago. Kevin fell in love with writing and performing music at a young age, and spent most of his time throughout high school writing songs and playing shows around his hometown. He loves lots of different kinds of music, but his favorite genre has always been 2000’s pop rock. The Fray, John Mayer, Counting Crows, and other artists in that vein are his biggest influences. Anything they’d be playing in a dentist’s office or at Harris Teeter, that’s what he’s into.

On February 1st, 2019, Goodwin released his debut EP, This Is How It Starts. That record would go on to gain traction, surpassing over 250,000 streams on Spotify. He then released his sophomore EP, Heart of the City, on March 5th, 2021. That record would also go on to garner over 250,000 streams on Spotify. His most recent EP, One Hell of a Night, was released on August 25th, 2023. The lead single from this most recent record, Best Damn Time, recently surpassed 100,000 views on YouTube and has received radio play.

Kevin’s upcoming single “Forevermore” is a vulnerable ballad that was written as an attempt to reconnect with a former love.
