Premiering on Louder Than War and Celebrated by BBC Music, “The Noise” Keeps Gaining Acclaim

[Brighton, March 15, 2024] – Following the explosive release of their latest single “The Noise,” Brighton-based alt-rock/punk band Creature Creature continues to captivate the music world. The band’s new track, featuring the electrifying collaboration with Billy Lunn of The Subways, premiered on Louder Than War on March 12th, accompanied by a gripping music video that has quickly garnered attention and praise from fans and critics alike.

“The Noise,” the lead single off Creature Creature’s forthcoming EP of the same name, marks a significant milestone in the band’s career. It embodies the band’s journey of resilience, rebellion, and raw energy. The music video, a visual testament to the band’s gritty, unapologetic spirit, has elevated the song’s impact, showcasing the synergy between Creature Creature and Billy Lunn in a dynamic and compelling narrative.

In the days leading up to the premiere, anticipation was built through rotation of the track on BBC Music Introducing… national radio segments. Coverage began in earnest on February 12th with an exclusive premiere on Louder Than War, immediately setting the tone for the single’s success. This was followed by features on The Punk Site and Digiindie on February 12th and 19th, respectively, further highlighting the band’s evolving sound and the significance of this release.

Idioteq‘s Weekly Roundup on February 16th and Breathing The Core‘s “Behind The Tracks” feature on February 22nd offered in-depth insights into the inspiration behind “The Noise,” drawing attention to the band’s creative process and the collaborative dynamics that fueled this powerful single. And most recently Scully, Creature Creature’s frontman, was recently interviewed by Canadian Beats as part of their Passport spotlights on international artists.

Scully expressed his enthusiasm about the reception of “The Noise” and its music video: “We’re thrilled to see how ‘The Noise’ has resonated with our fans and the broader music community. Working with Billy Lunn on this project brought an incredible energy to the song, and we believe the music video captures the essence of what we’re all about – defiance, energy, and a touch of chaos.

In August, Creature Creature is set to bring their electrifying energy to the largest independent punk festival in the world, Rebellion Festival. The band has announced their excitement about joining an iconic lineup that includes legends such as The Stranglers, Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, Cockney Rejects, and many more. Scheduled to perform between the 1st and 4th of August, Creature Creature promises a set that will be remembered long after the festival ends. With their characteristic fervor, the band states, “we’re fired up for this already, and that fire won’t die down until after we unleash our set on the Rebellion stage. Actually, that’s a lie, our fire will never die down!” This commitment to delivering unstoppable energy and unforgettable performances is what sets Creature Creature apart and ensures their appearance at Rebellion Festival will be a highlight of the event.

As Creature Creature gears up for the release of their EP “The Noise,” the band looks forward to continuing their momentum, promising more high-energy tracks and compelling storytelling.

About Creature Creature

In early 2020, Brighton’s alt-rock/punk band Creature Creature was primed for success. With their debut album Two Finger Tantrum ready, the band, comprising Scully (lyrics/vocals), Zeus (guitar), Seb Cole (keyboard/keytar/backing vocals), Dave Cobley (bass), and Matt Hill (drums), was set for extensive touring and publicity. However, the COVID pandemic brought their momentum to an abrupt halt, leading to a string of show cancellations and a lukewarm reception for their album in a world overshadowed by the pandemic.

Undeterred, Creature Creature saw this period as an opportunity for introspection and strategic planning. They emerged more resilient, ready for a comeback with their new EP, symbolizing their journey of persistence and renewal. Their music, inspired by the likes of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Royal Blood, IDLES, and Dinosaur Pile-Up, showcases a diverse blend of rock and punk, evident in singles like “Video Nasty,” “Mean Streets (Reprise),” and “Broken Windows.”

Praised by Rocklifestyle Magazine as ready to become rockstars and dubbed “the new flag bearers of rock” by The Brighton Magazine, Creature Creature has earned critical acclaim for their depth and dynamism. Their live performances, irrespective of audience size, are known for their energy and authenticity.

In summer 2022, a pivotal collaboration with Billy Lunn from The Subways marked a turning point for the band. “The Noise EP,” born from this collaboration and produced by Feeder’s Tommy Gleeson is a testament to their hard-fought journey. Now, Creature Creature is not just making a comeback; they’re determined to redefine the rock landscape they once thought had turned its back on them.
