This single will eventually be a part of Louvel’s upcoming album, also titled Above and Beyond. This new track from Diane Louvel explores themes of societal expectations and work-life balance through melancholic folk instrumentals and raw, down-to-earth vocals.

The song pokes fun at the idea that you only really get ahead in life by going “above and beyond” what’s technically required.
