Djentrified is the solo metal project of Cousteau Bix Christopher, blending raw, rhythmically complex aggression with a powerful message rooted in empathy, morality, anti-fascism, and resistance. Based in Southern California, Cousteau launched Djentrified to confront injustice through heavy music—turning breakdowns into battle cries and choruses into calls for change.

Drawing influence from artists like Breakdown of Sanity, Polaris, Brand of Sacrifice, and Fractalize—with foundational inspiration from Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin—Djentrified bridges technically demanding djent and deathcore with emotionally driven songwriting. The result is a sound as precise as it is punishing, unafraid to challenge both musical conventions and societal complacency.
