Jeremy Wineberg Launches Immersive Music Company Sounds Cool
Jeremy Wineberg, the co-founder of Heard Well, has announced his new initiative Sounds Cool, and a partnership with Warner Music Group’s ADA.
Jeremy Wineberg, the visionary co-founder of the critically acclaimed music platform Heard Well, announced his new initiative, Sounds Cool, and a special distribution partnership with Warner Music Group’s ADA. Via Heard Well’s dynamic talent roster, many in this year’s Creator A-List, like Noah Beck, Bretman Rock, and Tana Mongeau, join Sounds Cool. Wineberg also reunites with Perez Hilton to relaunch the groundbreaking Pop Up Music Series known for discovering and introducing iconic pop acts like Charli XCX, Capital Cities, Bastille, Icona Pop, Tegan and Sara, Sky Ferreira, and others.
Perez shares:
“I am elated to revisit my Pop Up Music Series, something I cherish when I look back at my career. I am passionate about sharing amazing songs and helping talented artists. I’m thrilled that Jeremy (who guided this project in the past) and Sounds Cool are going to help me get this to as many people as possible!”
Sounds Cool, a culmination of Wineberg’s previous music-driven ventures, is a full-service company that empowers artists, labels and brands to find monetizable ways to amplify their unique voice. Breaking through in the aughts with Invisible DJ, Wineberg introduced new music through fashion, partnering with brands such as Ron Herman, Juicy Couture, and Fred Segal. Then, in 2012, with the Opus Label, he leveraged the blossoming blogger culture with Perez Hilton to curate pop-up festivals and bolster new artists.
Through Heard Well, he discovered future stars like Billie Eilish, LANY, Lauv, and Girl in Red while helping the above-mentioned social-media influencers plus KallMeKris (Kris Collins), Sam & Colby, JC Caylen, Camille Kostek and others define their brand through curated streaming playlists. With Sounds Cool, Wineberg continues to predict and harness new trends in music discovery, leading to fresh avenues for monetization.
Wineberg states:
“Music and sound should seamlessly integrate into everyday life. The partnership with Warner Music’s ADA is not only about distributing the music we license or the artists we sign or the music we produce. It’s more than that. It’s about working with the artists in their ecosystem and connecting them with what’s happening in our ecosystem.”
Whether it be hospitality, wellness, or retail, Sounds Cool offers a variety of bespoke music and sound experiences that deepen the listener’s relationship with the brand. Wineberg and his team guide their partners to define a unique audio signature through mood consultation and custom playlists. Every brand can create their desired atmosphere, whether in-store or on the go.
For artists, including those in the ASMR space, Sounds Cool provides a streamlined way to license their music, get discovered, and get paid. Through placement on their expertly curated playlists, Sounds Cool ensures that listeners will always find something new and exciting while dining, shopping, or spending time at home. Veteran and emerging creators can craft playlists showcasing new music they love, and earn revenue alongside the artists they highlight. Labels can showcase their catalogues through Sounds Cool and connect their rosters to a robust audience and potential brand partners.
Sounds Cool’s curated playlists are now available for streaming on major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music and can be found here. For more information and to explore Sounds Cool’s offerings, please visit soundscool.com.
