[Brighton, February 12, 2024] – Brighton-based alt-rock/punk sensation Creature Creature is roaring back into the music scene with their electrifying new single “The Noise” from their much-anticipated upcoming EP, also titled ‘The Noise.’ This track is not just a song; it’s a statement – a defiant comeback that encapsulates the band’s journey through trials and triumphs. Accompanying the release, the band has unveiled a visually stunning music video for the single which premiered on Louder Than War. Shot in the Brighton City Airport hangar, the video is energetic and wild, perfectly complementing the raw power of the song.

In the wake of 2020’s turmoil, Creature Creature, composed of frontman & lyricist Scully, guitarist Zeus, keyboardist Seb Cole, bassist Dave Cobley, and drummer Matt Hill, faced an unprecedented setback. The global pandemic turned their world upside down, halting live performances and dimming the spotlight that was just beginning to shine on them. Their debut album Two Finger Tantrum met the world in a time of chaos, receiving a modest reception in a pandemic-shadowed landscape.

However, the spirit of Creature Creature couldn’t be dampened. Embracing resilience as their mantra, the band turned this period of global standstill into a crucible for creative renaissance. “The Noise” emerges as a powerful emblem of this journey. It’s a track that screams defiance and determination, embodying the band’s refusal to be silenced by circumstances beyond their control.

Instrumental in this resurgence has been the collaboration with Billy Lunn from The Subways, who took the band under his wing for the recording of the EP. Lunn’s expertise and guidance have been pivotal in honing Creature Creature’s raw energy and channeling it into a refined, yet fiercely rebellious sound.

Asked about the band’s new single and his involvement on it, Billy shared, “This band are, more than anything, brimming with fun and energy – even as they tackle social matters in their songs. Fantastic musicians, and everyone should check out this banging EP. ‘The Noise’ is a great example of what’s in store.

Creature Creature’s electrifying single ‘The Noise’ made waves on Iain Key’s Indie Brunch on Louder Than War, marking an early triumph before its official release. This spotlight underscores the band’s rising momentum and anticipation for their forthcoming EP.

“The Noise” is more than just a return to form; it’s a new chapter for Creature Creature. It’s a testament to the band’s unwavering commitment to their art, their unbreakable spirit, and their ability to rise from the ashes, stronger and louder than ever. With “The Noise,” Creature Creature is not just making a statement; they are setting the stage for an epic resurgence in the alt-rock world.

Experience the power of “The Noise” and join Creature Creature on their unstoppable journey forward.

About Creature Creature

In early 2020, Brighton’s alt-rock/punk band Creature Creature was primed for success. With their debut album Two Finger Tantrum ready, the band, comprising Scully (lyrics/vocals), Zeus (guitar), Seb Cole (keyboard/keytar/backing vocals), Dave Cobley (bass), and Matt Hill (drums), was set for extensive touring and publicity. However, the COVID pandemic brought their momentum to an abrupt halt, leading to a string of show cancellations and a lukewarm reception for their album in a world overshadowed by the pandemic.

Undeterred, Creature Creature saw this period as an opportunity for introspection and strategic planning. They emerged more resilient, ready for a comeback with their new EP, symbolizing their journey of persistence and renewal. Their music, inspired by the likes of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Royal Blood, IDLES, and Dinosaur Pile-Up, showcases a diverse blend of rock and punk, evident in singles like “Video Nasty,” “Mean Streets (Reprise),” and “Broken Windows.”

Praised by Rocklifestyle Magazine as ready to become rockstars and dubbed “the new flag bearers of rock” by The Brighton Magazine, Creature Creature has earned critical acclaim for their depth and dynamism. Their live performances, irrespective of audience size, are known for their energy and authenticity.

In summer 2022, a pivotal collaboration with Billy Lunn from The Subways marked a turning point for the band. “The Noise EP,” born from this collaboration and produced by Feeder’s Tommy Gleeson is a testament to their hard-fought journey. Now, Creature Creature is not just making a comeback; they’re determined to redefine the rock landscape they once thought had turned its back on them.
